Demonstrating Program Impact: Understanding the Role of Short-Term Outcomes

In this course, you will build the knowledge and skills needed to define, measure, and clearly communicate short-term outcomes for prevention programs. You will learn how to distinguish short-term outcome measures from process measures, develop a plan for collecting and reporting outcome data specific to your program, and understand how these outcomes can be used to demonstrate program success. By the end of the course, you will be equipped to articulate meaningful short-term outcomes and use them effectively to showcase the impact of your prevention efforts.
