CREDITS OFFERED

We are proud to partner with various credentialing bodies in Pennsylvania to offer you continuing education credits for qualifying courses.

Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for Social Workers
The National Association of Social Workers’ Pennsylvania Chapter has partnered with Penn State EPIS to offer CEUs for licensed clinical staff seeking credits for their LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or LSW.

Act 48 for Educators
Act 48 credits are provided through Penn State as a Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) non-credit-approved provider. Please note educators cannot start acquiring Act 48 hours until after certification begins per PDE.

Pennsylvania Certification Board (PCB)
The PCB is dedicated to public protection by establishing and monitoring certification standards and examination development for professionals in the behavioral, physical, and community health fields in addition to providing management and consultation services.

The PCB no longer reviews or approves education/training in order to offer credits. Instead, PCB-certified professionals can take relevant trainings from any source they choose and use them toward re-certification.

Additional information may be required, such as the course description and learning objectives, which are available on the Prevention Learning Portal.
