Content. The courses offered through this Portal are self-paced, prevention-focused learning opportunities developed by experts with significant experience in providing technical assistance to communities.

Flexibility. These courses have been designed to fit your schedule -- you may start a course and then pause training as needed.

Credit. Finally, you may receive professional development training hours for the topic or topics in which you enroll.

34th Annual Commonwealth Prevention Alliance (CPA) Conference

For more than 30 years, the Commonwealth Prevention Alliance (CPA) has been hosting their annual conference for prevention professionals across Pennsylvania. This event always features a dynamic line-up of speakers, keynotes, workshops, and power sessions designed to support critical prevention activities across the state. This conference shines a spotlight on the rapidly evolving nature of our work and provides access to leading-edge research, state-of-the-art tools, and new approaches to communications and messaging.

The 34th Annual CPA Conference will be held from June 12-14 at the Hilton Harrisburg. There is a full in-person option as well as a virtual option. There are scholarships being offered by the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime & Delinquency (PCCD).
